A World of Additional Clubs MSDC INTRODUCES YOU not only to a world of deeper understanding, but also to the multiple clubs which meet in the greater Washington, DC area. Many members belong to more than one club. Each offers something a little different. So we are very supportive of each others’ endeavors. There are well over a hundred mineral, gem and lapidary clubs which meet throughout the United States. MSDC works closely with the Eastern Federation of Mineral and Lapidary Societies which covers 21 states plus the District of Columbia. The Eastern Federation in turn is part of the American Federation which supports the interests of 7 regional federations of clubs throughout the United States.
